Alf Darb is a training curriculum that focuses on the mindset.

We believe that self-awareness, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, and the ability to translate values and ambitions into actionable goals and careers are essential to contribute to the development and growth of the individual.

Alf Darb helps individuals gain a better understanding of certain skill sets and how they can be applied to the real world. We invest in those who are interested in acquiring new skills and expertise that raise productivity and output, resulting in either a job or advancing in an existing one.

Our curriculum is designed to allow participants to customize their journey to what best suits them. It gives them control to navigate through the process, all while allowing them to pick up valuable skills along the way.

The Values Framework
Workshop objective:

Introduce Values of Excellence to participants, reflect on values alignment and improvement and introduce the tools used for tracking/measuring values.

Learning Goals:

Inform: participants of the values necessary for a successful and fulfilling career, mindset, motivation and relationships with others.

Enable: participants to reflect on their alignment with values, their points of improvement, and to measure their progress.

Transform: participants’ outlook on what they say and do and on the attitude, they adopt and relationships they build with others based on a foundation of positive values.

The Self-Branding Module
Workshop objective:

The workshop helps participants analyze where they are now, and where they want to go. Each participant maps out their personal brand helping them distill their unique strengths, values, their mission, vision, and values and how these concepts will be translated into actions and communications within the organization and the community at large.

Learning Goals:

Inform: Give participants the insight into how their ability to define their own brand helps them achieve their goals, what the underlying system to this type of brand thinking is, and how they can apply it to their own careers.

Enable: Help participants to become self-directed in creating a brand that will help them stand out from the crowd and achieve their professional and personal goals.

Transform: To become self-aware, self-defined, and ultimately self-directed in their ability to capture their identity and build their actions and communications in such a way that will support them in achieving their professional and personal goals.

The Coaching Module
Workshop Objectives:
  • To enable the participants to broaden, develop and motivate each other and their teams to achieve personal and professional development.

The Art of Feedback
Workshop Objective:

Introduce participants to the importance of effective internal communication (i.e. between peers, subordinates, and superiors). Participants will engage in a variety of exercises relating to peer coaching, seeking support at work, self-management, and the art of giving proper feedback.

Learning Goals:

Inform: participants on methods of peer coaching and how to seek and provide professional support, manage emotions and reactions at work and give effective feedback.

Enable: participants to practice peer coaching and provide them with the tools that will enable them to become effective communicators.

Transform: Participants have gained the needed tools and knowledge for effective communication. They are able to communicate with their subordinates, peers and managers effectively and also able to teach and learn from their colleagues resulting in a healthier organizational culture.

Workshop Objective:

The module is designed to guide individuals to reach work/life balance and become more independent through evaluating their situation, where they are, where they want to be in the future and motivates them to establish personal and professional goals and focus on reaching their (financial, health, and social) objectives through mirror of self-reflection.

Learning Goals:

Inform: participants will learn about the self-sufficiency definition, executive functioning lens, primary executive functioning skills, navigation process, stress related challenges, and the Alf Darb pillars of well-being.

Enable: participants to reflect where they are now on the self-sufficiency bridge, and identify where they want to be on each pillar.

Transform: participants set professional and personal goals with clear action plans on how to achieve them in order to become more self-sufficient one step at a time.

The Challenge
Workshop Objective:

The Challenge aims to expand the learning beyond the classroom: how can the employees apply what they learned at work. Participants will work in groups on selected projects that help to improve the organizational culture.

Inform: tools that aid participants with pitching innovative solutions to create a healthy organizational culture.

Enable: pitching skills, team work, applying all the modules through one practical project.

Transform: TATA employees implement the projects they proposed at work, engage the whole team in implementation to contribute in creating a healthy organizational culture at work.
